Away from the hustle of the city and nestled in the tranquil lap of nature, lies Paramdham Sadhana Sankul – a spiritual centre that is blessed this year to host the Chaturmas of Param Gurudev Shree Namramuni Maharaj Saheb aadi 5 Param Maharaj Sahebs and 30 Param Mahasatijis. The auspicious Chaturmas Pravesh occasion was celebrated with immense joy and positivity, looking forward to four months of intense dharma sadhana, bhakti, shasan seva and tapasya.
The occasion, which also marked one of the most important days of the year for every devotee ‘Guru Purnima Samarpan Avsar’, was ushered in with heartfelt devotion by not just Jains, but Gurubhakts from every caste including Vaishnavs, Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Patels, Rabaris, etc.
On this auspicious occasion, Param Gurudev said, “The intense enthusiasm that one experiences on doing even the smallest task in and for the field of dharma is called Samveg. Dharma is not a mere responsibility, it is an expression of your inner devotion. There are numerous clouds in the sky, but every cloud does not shower rain. In the same way, many people may have abundant capability and capacity. But only the one whose heart is drenched in Samveg bhaav can offer all that he has for dharma. It always happens that in the presence of a Guru or spiritual guide, people’s interest and enthusiasm towards dharma and righteousness increases, and it slowly decreases in their absence. However, always remember one thing, if you truly ‘miss’ your Parmatma or Guru even in worldly life, nobody in this world shall ever be able to ‘misguide’ you! That is the power of Samveg!”
Shri Jigarbhai Sheth of Matushri Kanchanben Ramnikbhai Sheth family were blessed with the priceless opportunity of supporting the entire chaturmas as labharthis. They were honoured on this occasion by the previous year’s labharthis, Shri Avantibhai Kankariya.
Shri Girishbhai Shah of Samast Mahajan, who has saved more than 55,000 injured and disabled stray animals and birds through the Arham Animal Ambulance project in the past 2 years, was offered support of Rs. 2 Cr from Arham Trust to further his extraordinary animal welfare initiatives.
The event marked the launch of the book ‘Inside Out’, a collection of inspiring discourses by Param Gurudev Shree Namramuni Maharaj Saheb. The Sheth family was also blessed with the opportunity of offering the Aagam pothi to Param Gurudev, the sacred scriptures based on which Param Gurudev shall deliver profound discourses throughout the chaturmas.
Heartfelt performances, musical dramas and devotional programmes brought to life the extraordinary bond of Guru – shishya on this occasion of Guru Purnima Samarpan Avsar.
