Manavta Mahotsav 2024 was a powerful convergence of spirituality and humanity in the august presence of Param Gurudev Shree Namramuni Maharaj Saheb. The event featured a powerful once-a-year mantra sadhana of Shree Uvasaggaharam Stotra by Param Gurudev. A key highlight was the unveiling of a groundbreaking initiative in animal healthcare—the ‘Always Care’ Animal Care Centre.
"The true purpose of human life is realised only when we nurture humanity within our hearts," remarked Param Gurudev Shree Namramuni Maharaj Saheb as he celebrated his 54th birthday, known as Manavta Mahotsav. The celebration, held at Paramdham Sadhana Sankul along the Mumbai-Nashik Highway, was experienced by thousands of devotees and was broadcast also globally through livestream.
Param Gurudev, who is a renowned sadhak of the very powerful mantra Shree Uvasaggaharam Stotra, conducted a soul-stirring mantra sadhana on this occasion. Devotees were blessed with the auspicious Mantra Kalash charged with the vibrations of the sadhana.
The event marked the launch of the ‘Always Care’ Animal Care Centre, a 48,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art veterinary facility designed to care for injured, sick, and disabled stray animals and birds. The centre will include an ICU and Operation Theatre for both large and small animals, a physiotherapy centre, an enrichment area, a hygiene centre, emergency and isolation wards, and a specialised kitchen for animal food preparation.
Leading business and political leaders extended their best to Param Gurudev on this occasion, including Reliance Group Chairman Shri Mukeshbhai Ambani, Former ACP Shri Sunilji Jain, BJP Maharashtra Vice President and State Cabinet Minister Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodhaji, SVKM Trustee Shri Bhargavbhai Patel, and MLA Shri Kisan Kathoreji.
On this occasion, distinguished individuals who have made significant and meaningful contributions to society were honoured with the prestigious Param Awards. Recipients included Dr. Tarangji Gianchandani, Group CEO – Healthcare Initiatives, Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital; Shri Ashishkumarji Saraf, MD & CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE); Shri C.C. Dangiji, President of Bharat Jain Mahamandal; Dr. M.L. Sarafji, Professor Emeritus at Bombay Hospital and Institute of Medical Sciences; and Shri Manishji Shah, Managing Director of Manba Finance Ltd.
Additionally, the Jain scripture Shree Upasakgdashang Sutra was launched in English with an authentic translation according to global transcription standards, marking the first time a Jain Aagam scripture has been translated into English in the history of the Sthanakwasi Jain tradition.
Another impactful initiative, the ‘Arham Autorickshaw Project,’ was introduced by Parasdham’s humanitarian youth wing, Arham Yuva Seva Group. This project aims to empower autorickshaw drivers by enabling them to own their vehicles rather than renting them, promoting self-reliance. Following a successful pilot in Rajkot, the project shall now be scaled in Mumbai, with donors committing to sponsor over 200 vehicles—far exceeding the original target of 108 vehicles.
The celebration featured the musical and theatrical production ‘Mantra Manav,’ which beautifully depicted the origin of Shree Uvasaggaharam Stotra and Param Gurudev’s personal connection with the mantra, which played a crucial role in saving his life during a critical situation.
The event concluded with a sense of fulfilment, knowing that it would bring joy and support to countless animals and underprivileged families.
