Two Diksharthis carry the glory of Jain tradition across the United States

Diksharthis In USA

Mumukshu Yashvi Mehta (22) and Mumukshu Jaanvi Shah (21) carried the message of dharma and saiyam (self-command) to over 1,200 youth at the YJA (Young Jains of America) Convention, and to the Jain centres of Washington DC, New Jersey and Dallas.

The two Diksharthis, who are preparing to accept Jain Diksha under the guidance of their Guru, Param Namramuni Gurudev, were invited to YJA 2026, the largest gathering of Jain youth in the United States. Before 1,200+ young people and dignitaries from Jain centres across the country, they led the Manglacharan that marked the auspicious opening of the convention. Across sessions for every age group, they delivered talks and candid, interactive conversations on the theme ‘The Uncommon Choice’.

Beyond the convention, Jains across America welcomed the two Diksharthis in warm, overflowing gatherings, with programmes across New Jersey, the Jain Society of Metropolitan Washington (JSMW) and the Jain Society of North Texas (JSNT). Sharing their journey toward Diksha through presentations, talk shows and live experiments, the Diksharthis opened a new direction for everyone present.

Beyond the satsang halls, they graced the homes of many families, Jain and non-Jain alike. Over the nine-day tour, from June 30 to July 8, 2026, they carried a simple yet powerful message of compassion and truth across the United States.

The Diksharthis are set to take Jain Diksha in Mumbai on 29th November, 2026.
